Why do people worry?
It’s a tricky thing.
It’s like quicksand, kind of
it pulls you in.
A deep breath
— in, then out —
and a clear head
are you all need to get out
because you’re only stuck in your mind.
So, people worry because they’re in their head.
But it’s deeper than that, you see?
Because why is worry in your head?
Where did worry begin?
It is not a natural aspect of one’s soul essence to worry.
Life does that to us.
So… with life being a journey:
worry is one of life’s journeys.
We can choose to walk that path of worry.
But why? Why would we choose that?
What does it do for us? What lessons come from worry?

To me, as most things, it’s to bring light to it.
In saying that, I must digress, as some people who are resonating at a different frequency from where I am currently (no judgment, a simple distinction — might even be myself at a different point in time) would bring an ego judgment into it. (“Oh, she’s talked about herself as light and thinks so highly of herself, like she’s God.”)
Light goes beyond that, though, because the ego doesn’t understand light.
The ego understands self.
Who you are beyond the self is light.
The ego is within the self.
Light is beyond the self.
And worry — me shining a light on worry, focusing my attention on it,
brings an awareness of myself as a witness to an energetic pattern, a frequency.
It helps me identify it.
It leads to a greater understanding on the subtle flow of life.
I can recognize the frequency of “worry”. With practice, of course. It takes effort to be present.
So, the next step is to remain unbothered by it. To maintain a sense of serenity in the midst of it. To understand “I” am not “worry”. “Worry” is not “me”.
Worry just is.
So why would we choose to walk the path of worry?
?
(Why did I? To explore.)
